Plastic Beta Ring is made of heat-resistant and chemical-resistant plastic. The plastic packing material includes:
polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), reinforced polypropylene (RPP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and tower packing made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). It has good corrosion resistance, large gap, large flux, low resistance, low energy consumption, low operating cost, light weight, easy loading and unloading, and reusable. It is especially suitable for medium and low temperature (60-280 degree ) stripping, absorption and washing towers in petroleum, chemical, chlor-alkali, gas, environmental protection and other industries.

Plastic Beta Ring: It was invented by the Kochgrich company. The inner arc tongue will increase the uninterrupted flow of gas and liquid, while providing an additional drop point to enhance the surface renewal of the liquid film to improve the mass transfer efficiency. The open structure and the vertically inclined inner ring make the solids easier to be washed by liquids. Plastic Beta Ring has the characteristics of high porosity, low pressure drop, mass unit height, high flooding point, sufficient gas-liquid contact, small specific gravity, and high heat and mass transfer efficiency. Plastic Beta Ring packing is a very efficient random packing for chemical industry. Used for water vapor cooling tower, absorption tower and stripping device in separation device.

1. Low aspect ratio increases capacity and reduces pressure drop. The preferred vertical orientation of the packing axes allows free gas flow through the packed bed. 2. Lower pressure drop than Pall rings and saddles. |
